Schola Sarmenti Antieri Susumaniello (Puglia, 75cl. 12%)

A proper strong, fresh balanced wine with a top body. The colour is intense and even against the light, an impenetrable ruby red. Formidable but graceful in flavour, contrasted against complex and delicate aromas. Its fruity, its spicy and its our late Sunday afternoon, post dinner favourite. Great for a palate that is lingering with the heat of pepperoncino.
